Lawrence Mooney

Lawrence Mooney is a stand-up comedian, radio broadcaster and television host, widely regarded by fans and peers as one of Australia's funniest.

As a radio broadcaster, he took Triple M Brisbane’s breakfast radio show to number#1 in the market and the following year won an Australian Commercial Radio Award (ACRA) for Best Entertainment Presenter in a metro market.

No stranger to television, Lawrence is well known as the host of Dirty Laundry Live that ran for 3 seasons on ABC, as well as his work on Agony Uncles, Agony of Life and Modern Manners. Lawrence is a regular on The Back Page, as hand-picked to host a new comedy-driven footy show, Up The Guts, on Fox Sports following on from Friday Night Footy.

Chief Executive Officer - Aviation, Surf Life Saving Queensland

Ken has been a volunteer Surf Lifesaver since 1982 and is a current Beach Patrolling Member and Life Member at Pacific Surf Life Saving Club.

Ken has been a Trainer Assessor since 1984 and has a passion for education. As the CEO of SLSQ’s Aviation sector, Ken manages an aviation team of 12 Pilots, 4 Aircrew Officers, and approximately 40 volunteer ACO’s and RCO’s, an Engineering and administration team.  The Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter Service is a complimentary asset to our lifeguards and volunteer lifesavers on Queensland beaches.

Catherine MacGowan
Catherine MacGowan

Vice President (Asia Pacific Region and Air Operations), Wisk

Catherine brings more than 23 years of experience to her role as Vice President of the Asia Pacific Region and Air Operations at Wisk. She is responsible for leading a multinational team focused on bringing Wisk’s first self-flying eVTOL air taxi to market.

Prior to joining Wisk, Catherine was a Group Captain in the Royal New Zealand Air Force and has held several leadership positions across the New Zealand Defence Force. Catherine has led strategic change programs, including the transformation of Air Force Intelligence, and the integration of new aircraft fleets, and was the Commanding Officer of a 160 staff squadron delivering intelligence and communication services.

Catherine also served at the Ministry of Primary Industries, where she grew the intelligence capability to strengthen the protection of the country’s biosecurity, fisheries and trade functions. She has also served as the Military Secretary to the New Zealand Minister of Defence.

Earlier in her career, Catherine served as a P-3K Orion Navigator for numerous regional and international deployments. She has also held a range of planning, operational and strategic roles. Catherine has a Master in International Security (with distinction) from Massey University.

She is an alumna of the Global Women Breakthrough Leaders Programme and was dux of the New Zealand Defence Force’s Advanced Command & Staff Course (2013).
